Working Methodology
VertexPlus development methodology provides a structured framework aimed at delivering high quality software solutions to clients. Over the past 5 years we have developed a store of knowledge through hundreds of web development projects. We have refined our business process by blending the best industry. We have absorbed best approaches to get maximum performance and highest quality for web-related projects.
We promote a result-driven interactive approach and guarantees better customer service with regards to quality, cost and customer’s strategic goals, without compromising on any of these factors.
At VertexPlus, we follow a complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process with distinct phases. We have full control of procedures at every phase to mitigate project risks and ensure efficient performance and high quality project implementation
Project Management:
From the very beginning of a project it has a project manager so a client can solve all project-related issues through the only person. Project Manager is involved into requirements definition when a project starts up. His routine responsibilities are project planning, team management, early project risks definition / elimination and reporting to client.
Requirements Management:
If client don't have a detailed specification for the system they want, we can work with them to create a specific one. This may involve:
- Defining / redefining the business requirements, features, benefits and the overall goals of the project, so business goals and IT priorities are aligned
- Discussing how we should work together to achieve goals under time limits.
- If another system already exists then looking at the pros and cons of their existing systems and other systems they may have been considering
- Providing a draft specification and cost estimate for their feedback
- Web 2.0 compatible services
- Project planning and prototypes
Thus the team and the customer define or refine the business requirements and the overall goals of the project. Alignment of business and IT priorities in this phase is crucial, and the team will spend time understanding how the architecture will be used. During this phase, the team also begins identifying and mitigating risks. The envisioning phase culminates in the vision-approved milestone, which indicates that the team and customer agree on the project direction.
Once we have outlined the vision for the project, we plan the development and make the requirements more specific. The quality process is started at this stage. We produce a draft design and prototypes to ensure that we are on the right path from an early stage.
Planning & Designing:
During the planning phase, the team plans the development and makes requirements more specific. The end of the phase is marked by the approval of the project plan by the customer.
Development:
While we develop the project, we have ongoing coordination with the client to ensure that they are satisfied with the progress and to take any changes into account. We seek feedback on a regular basis and integrate this into the development process along with risk and quality management.
Quality Monitoring:
At VertexPlus, we have a dedicated quality department responsible for Quality Assurance at every project from its start up to delivery. Depending on a project size we allocate a testing team and define a timeframe for its work. This allows optimizing resources involvement and thus project costs. QA experts work independently from development team yet in close cooperation with it.
VertexPlus continuously improves its methodology to meet customer expectations through accelerated development schedules and high-quality outcomes.
